Ben spent a month completing our kitchen diner conversion and always turned up on time, communicated really well, answered our queries, and got on with the job quickly and efficiently. He project managed a few other trades too and everything ran like clockwork. He was even great at dealing with a couple of minor tricky situations with our neighbours. We're really pleased with the result - the room looks good. Great job.
I can highly recommend Ben Harris, he came around to sort out an untidy area under our stairs where we had no storage. He built in a cupboard and boxed in the fuse box and unsightly pipes. Ben was able to alter much of the original timber we had saved from the previous cupboard, and matched some new timber in perfectly . He is a skilled craftsman and is meticulous in his approach. Ben arrived on time and cleaned up really thoroughly after finishing the job. I would not hesitate to use him again in the future.
In mid 2013 we contracted Aspect One Developments Ltd to perform renovations on our property with Ben performing the role of Project Manager (also undertaking some of the building/refurbishment work himself). The works were extensive entailing a complete refurbishment, electrical rewire, new windows, installation of new kitchen and bathrooms, kitchen extension, and building of a new loft extension with bedroom and en-suite shower room. The works were completed on time by end of Nov 2013 to allow us to move in on schedule.
We found Ben to be both professional and friendly in equal measure. He threw himself enthusiastically into the project and was the main driving force instrumental in making this project such a success. He kept us informed as to progress by email and phone (with us making numerous site visits) and this made for a stress free project as far as we were concerned. The quality of the finish achieved and the quality of the workmanship that Ben oversaw was first class. Ben was ever available and always willing to give suggestions and help in solving all kinds of design and constructional issues.
In short we found that having Ben perform the project management of the renovations has given us a level of finish which we could never have realised on our own. Ben is a true professional and we can acknowledge him and recommend him to perform similar duties to any client who needs renovation/building work performed.
It has been a pleasure having Ben Harris work for us for the past few weeks. He was employed to convert our loft space into a useable room for a teenager. The quality of all the work he has done is fantastic and we are delighted with the end result. He stuck to both his quote and estimate of time to complete the job, and the total price for the loft was very reasonable.
He was friendly yet unobtrusive in our busy household and extremely tolerant of three inquisitive children monitoring his progress! He also cleared up any mess at the end of each day which was hugely appreciated!
